Privacy Policy

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy describes how Reams Energy Private Limited handles information collected through this website — the enquiry, quotation and job-application forms, and the small amount of technical data recorded when one of those forms is submitted.

It does not cover the payroll, statutory and HR records we process for client organisations under a service contract. Those records are handled under the terms agreed with the client concerned, not under this website policy.

2. What We Collect

We only hold what you type into a form on this site, plus two technical details recorded with the submission. Different forms ask for different fields:

The IP address and user-agent are stored with the submission itself so that automated abuse of the forms can be identified and blocked. Nothing on this site profiles you across pages or visits.

The forms do not accept file uploads, and we never ask for identity documents, bank details, salary slips or any other sensitive record through this website. Please do not put them in a message.

3. Why We Collect It

There are only three reasons:

• To reply to your enquiry or prepare the quotation you asked for.
• To read, assess and respond to a job application.
• To keep a record of the conversation while it is open, and to protect the forms from automated submissions.

We do not use what you send us for marketing lists, newsletters, advertising or automated decision-making. If you contact us, you will hear from us about your enquiry — not about anything else.

4. How It Is Stored

Each submission is appended as a single line to a dated file in the /storage folder on the server that hosts this website. That folder is not published and is not reachable from a browser.

A copy of the same submission is emailed to us — general enquiries to info@reamsenergy.in, job applications to careers@reamsenergy.in — so the right team sees it. Nothing is sent to a third-party CRM, form service, mailing platform or advertising network.

5. How Long We Keep It

Enquiry and quotation records are kept while the enquiry is open and are closed off once it has been dealt with. Job applications are kept while the role is being filled, and afterwards only so we can consider you for a similar opening.

You can ask us to delete your record at any point, including an application you have already sent. See contacting us about your data.

6. Who We Share It With

Nobody. We do not sell, rent, trade or pass on what you send through this site. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking script anywhere on these pages.

The only exception would be a disclosure we are legally required to make to a competent authority, which we would make only to the extent required.

7. Third-Party Services This Site Loads

In the interest of being complete: this site loads its web fonts, icon set and animation library from public content delivery networks. Your browser fetches those files directly, so the provider serving them can see your IP address as part of that ordinary request. We receive nothing back from them and do not use them to measure or track visitors.

The WhatsApp, call and email buttons simply hand you over to WhatsApp, your phone dialler or your mail application. Once you leave this site, that provider's own privacy terms apply, not ours.

8. Cookies

This site sets one cookie: the standard PHP session cookie. It exists so a one-time security token can be tied to your session and a form submission can be verified as genuine rather than forged. It carries no personal information, is marked HttpOnly, and is discarded when you close your browser.

There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers — which is why you are not asked to dismiss a consent banner.

9. Your Rights

Write to us and you can:

• Ask whether we hold anything about you, and what it is.
• Ask for a copy of the enquiry or application you submitted.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your record entirely.
• Withdraw an enquiry or an application at any time.

We act on these requests as soon as we reasonably can. We may first ask you to confirm a detail from the original submission, so that we never hand someone's information to the wrong person.

10. Security

Forms are protected by a per-session security token and a hidden field that catches automated submissions. Stored enquiries stay on the company's own server, and access is limited to the people who need it to answer enquiries and handle recruitment.

No website can promise perfect security. What we can promise is that we keep as little as possible, for as long as it is genuinely needed, and nothing more.

11. Changes To This Policy

If the site starts collecting something different, or stores it somewhere different, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of earlier versions — the page you are reading is the policy in force.
